Where to start. Recently was in Opelika and needed somewhere to crash. The girl at the front desk was either on drugs or was slow. We requeted a double room for two evenings. She was very inquisitive about our stay, where we were from and why we were in town. We told her that we just needed the room to have somewhere to step away from the hospital where we were semi-living as our grandmother was in hospice there. She ran our card twice and also entered in everything then messed up and had to start over. Once we got two keys, we headed to the room where one key immediately did not work. Once in the room it smelled like an outhouse and was so stale. I dropped off my bag and we headed back to the hospital for the night. Once my grandmother passed we came back to the hotel to discover she charged us for only one night and the front desk had my bag. Upon further inspection, my makeup bag with almost $200 of products-all high end luxury brands in addition to my deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste were gone. I also cancelled my credit card because clearly the employees are thieves.

Very hot upstairs in hallway. Carpet upstairs in hallway needed to be vacuumed. The breakfast was great.

I was just visiting for Memorial Day and I loved it they have done a lot of remodeling it's funny how they redid the showers at it's hard to tell if it's working or not but it's pretty cool even the staff isn't cool they gave us directions to find a place to have great breakfast.

The staff is very friendly!! The rooms and continental breakfast are worth the stay.

TV didn't work- called front desk- was told to pull the tv out on its arm a bit because of signal. Not enough towels for the amount of people booked. Blow dryer was from back in the 1970's I know because I had one back then but a least mine had the safety front piece on it.
