Went in for a pair of work boots. Dan was the gentleman that helped me and I couldn’t have been happier. Having issues with my left foot, I usually need to try on many boots/shoes. He was extremely patient and helpful. Not pushy and helped narrow it down. Several people in and out while I was there and he seamlessly jumped between customers and was super polite. Five stars for Dan!

Red Wing boots are some of my favorite boots. But the customer service at the Bloomington MN store is garbage. Every time I go to this particular store, it seems like the person working there would rather be doing something else. Going forward I may just have to drive to the Red Wing store in Red Wing to get good customer service.

My son needed a pair of boots for a new job. Excellent service! Explained various options & styles that would fit his needs. Waterproof, puncture proof, safety toe, slip resistant, & ankle support. He showed several options & patiently explained minor differences and answered all our questions. Prices are a bit high but the quality is excellent. 30 day customer satisfaction guarantee. 1 year warranty. $100 to re-sole if & when that might be needed.

Red Wing boots are one  thing I don't mind splurging on.  Manufactured in Minnesota and some of the best quality you can find. Can't really beat that. Great looking too.

Went in to buy a pair of the lifetime warranty socks I had purchased from another store. The older guy said "There is no such thing as socks with a lifetime warranty. We would have a line around the store" After finding out another store had them, I went to return the cheap pair he just sold me and he said "Good! I need the paper money change"

I don't really care for this particular location.  I am not necessarily a fan of Red Wing at all but simply looking for some decent quality comfortable safety toe shoes for work.  I don't really care for the attitude this older guy Tom has.  For a store manager he really does not seem to have much of a passion for what he does not much knowledge.  I think he could be a little more helpful and have a little better attitude.  He is extremely slow, and seems a bit incompetent at times.  He makes no apologies for them being out of what you are looking for nor can he tell you when they will have it or even if it is on order or not!  Almost unbelievable!  I asked if I could order it on the red wing site directly and he did not seem to know.  If that's not the definition of incompetence then I don't know what else could be!  I would expect to be told when an item will be in stock and find a sales person who wants to make a sale and help you find what you are looking for.  I would expect them to check other stores to see if another location might have it.  I feel like I almost have to twist his arm to make any progress.  And I am trying to be as nice and patient as I can be.  I think he could really stand to take some classes in customer service.

I wanted to thank the staff at the Bloomington RW location as well as the customer service center. Although there was a bit of a mixup with the order and a little delay, provided by pandemic/holiday season I received my order and couldn’t be happier with the quality and help I’ve received.

I’ve had a couple pairs of Irish Setter boots throughout the years and have been extremely satisfied. I went in today to buy a pair of work boots, and the guy working Tom was exceptional. He didn’t push anything, let me find a couple pairs that I liked and explained the benefits of both. The only negative is that it will be a couple years before I get to go back.

Very nice shopping experience. The quality of their shoes and boots are unparalleled. The employee was very helpful and knowledgeable. The selection available was extensive but mostly geared towards men, so if you are looking for women's sizes, it might need to be ordered in. But whatever you end up buying here, you will absolutely love!

I really enjoy my Red Wing boots, and have had fantastic service at every other store I have been too except this one. I went in a few days ago with my wife to get her a pair of boots, the gent behind the counter was very rude and was not at all interested in selling us a pair of boots. We asked what they had for women's black steel toed boots, and he replied they had none, even though they are most certainly in the catalogue, he did not offer to size or discuss options. Avoid this store like the plague and spend your money else where.
