I was shopping for furniture and making the rounds at the stores. I've been here before and Mitch was very understanding...a no pressure salesman. Dealt with him again. They had a complete set bargain on the floor. We jumped on it and we even haggled briefly with Mitch and the manager. Great experience , great prices, and they even pulled off same day delivery for a fee. Wow. These guys are good. Very friendly staff. Thanks guys. And my dog has not torn up my furniture yet.

We have had a great experience with Regency Furniture in Capitol Heights. Our sales representative - Allegra - was professional and very accommodating, helping us to select and purchase furniture for our whole house. She took her time with us, gave us space to make decisions, and helped us in finding great deals. She has superb customer service and always makes herself available to us when we have questions or concerns. Even when there was a snag with our delivery, she and her manager David helped to make sure our issue was resolved quickly and smoothly. I am very pleased with the service we have received and would definitely return and recommend this location. :)

I am shocked by the way I was treated by your salesperson, Mitch, at the Capitol Heights location. When I first arrived in the store this past Saturday, he greeted me at the door. He told me his name and said that if I have any questions, to let him know. I thanked him and said I will be looking around today for bedroom sets. It didn’t take long before he was following me around the store — literally. It actually made me feel very uncomfortable because he was so close behind me and disregarding my personal space. He ended up speaking and asked if there was something I liked. I told him there were a few bedroom sets that I was interested in but that I wanted to continue to look around to see which one I wanted to actually buy based on my budget and the size of the furniture. He said OK, and then went away. Moments later, he was back to following me around (still on the phone) when he decided to interrupt my conversation to ask, “Are you going to buy something? You’ve walked around the store 100 times and haven’t decided on anything.” He proceeded to tell me he works on commission and he doesn’t make any money while following me, and there’s other customers he could be working with. I was a little taken aback because I never asked him to follow me around. I told him that as well. He then went on to say it’s store policy for him to do what he’s doing. Still confused, I told him he is more than welcome to go assist other customers while I continue to look and when I have any questions, I’ll be more than happy to ask him for help. He rolled his eyes and walked away. Fast forward, I had two bedroom sets that I was looking at. While I was looking at one that I favored more, he pops up again and we talk about this particular set. He talks about financing all this other sales-related stuff. Again, he was expecting me to say I’m ready to buy (I was, but wanted to be sure the furniture would fit in my bedroom). He got extremely nasty with me and said, “I’m going to go get my manager so he can follow you around because you are wasting my time.” I was like, “Excuse me? I’ll just leave.” He replied, “Yeah, maybe you should do that.” At that point, I was completely done and didn’t want to even make a purchase anymore. I’ve dealt with pushy salesmen before. However, I’ve never experienced such a vile, disrespectful and unprofessional salesperson — ever. From making me feel uncomfortable by stalking me in the store to catching a nasty attitude, he clearly lacks basic customer service training. I will never step foot in that store ever again. Regency’s website states, “Keeping in line with our philosophy of customer satisfaction, each location is staffed with an abundance of trained experts who can assist customers with any questions they may have about our products, offer guidance for best styling choices and make sure that each customer’s individual needs and preferences are met.” I think you should give Mitch a refresher on Regency’s customer service philosophy because he CLEARLY didn’t show it on Saturday.

I had a dream bed I was looking for and I thought it was only available at Ashley Home Store. One day I stopped by Regency to look at other options and Mitch was the BEST sales assistant I’ve ever encountered. He was able very helpful and he was successful on finding my dream bed and also a sectional sofa for my apartment that I absolutely love! At a reasonable price too. Great staff!

I went to regency in capital heights after work and was there about an hour before closing. Even though it was close to the time of leaving the service I received was exceptional! My salesperson, Bill, helped me find just the right pieces for my living room and gave me great prices on top of the sale price. The manager, Danny, was great and very personable. When I furnish the rest of my home I will definitely be returning to this store!!
