Very patient employees who have helped me on my journey to find the right boots that don't hurt me. They also have good hiking and climbing stories. I've been having trouble finding the right boots for all season, seemingly hitting painful ends nearly every time. These guys have the patience and understanding that you would want in your best friend. Thanks, REI, for being so dang awesome.

I never plan on shopping here again and nor will my husband. A friend and I went to this store to look at jackets and coats. Immediately, they started to assume we were up to no good. I guess since we didn't look like the typically REI customers we didnt belong. We were followed and constantly harassed to the point that we decided that even if we had the chance to find something we liked we didnt want to give then our business. They literally questioned us on why we were there, if we had a membership (which I do) and literally had people posted at the door. My husband and I really enjoy going to REI to shop and we were planning to go here to get our gear for camping but after this experience we will take our business somewhere else.

Easy parking, knowledgeable staff. I asked a couple of product related questions and received reasonable answers provided with confidence. It's restroom was, as always, clean. It's a shop I enjoy browsing.

Very friendly and accomodating. We bought several event tents from another location plus a couple from this location. We asked ahead of time if we could return them even if open as it was possibly going to rain, but not guaranteed. We ended up opening and setting them up for about 20 minutes out of fear of the growing clouds - they eventually passed. We felt bad for ripping up the boxing, but they generously accepted the return after a few questions. We felt bad enough to buy a few things, which the associates were actually very knowledgeable and helpful about. Thank you for understanding and quality service.

eh. everything is wayyyyyyyyy overpriced. really only a novelty store for the wealthy. it is a beautiful store--open air floor plan with a giant, rugged wooden stairwell up to the second story, with arboreal yet lavish architectural lines. all of the products i'm sure are great quality and i know rei stands by their products. but unless you're a member you can't participate in all the sales; you have to pay to be a member, and everything costs an arm and a leg...I only went in here because i won a gift card. fifty bucks got me a discover pass and a single pair of cheap gloves that were on clearance. also, the associates seem knowledgable but they DEFINITELY cater to the wealthy patrons. they won't give anyone else any time of day. just a bit cold and taciturn and snooty. i was in my nice work clothes too (button-up shirt and nice jeans/slacks), but i guess just because i'm a college kid they immediately just glanced over me and went off to help some blonde chick wearing a $150 patagonia sweater? i mean it's fine, whatever, just a bit poor on customer service. unless you're one of the elite, wealthy hikers/outdoor junkies who plans to spend at least $200 (which means a pair of shorts and a shirt here lol), they will not be friendly to you and you're not worth their time. also i felt as if all four of them standing around sort of squinted at me/were watching me, as if i might steal? just because i’m young? it wasn’t like i was in a smelly hoodie and stained jeans—i looked presentable and was polite. just feel like they don’t like young adults and assume were only in there to steal. definitely won’t be going again.
