They can't get their act together and they do not communicate with one another. I expected their things to be over priced and it was helpful when we were in a bind. But 2 months later we find out that they have been over charging on our bi-weekly arrangement.  Then we switched the due date because my husband's pay period changed.  We paid on a Friday and then the very next Friday they showed up wanting to pick up the stuff. The person we had spoken to about changing the due date failed to tell any of the other employees or to file it for others to see it. After all that, they called asking if we would like to come by and look at the new stuff they had. Right after they tried taking back the other stuff. So once again we had to explain and once again we were told they would get it fixed. We were also told we had a credit which was never applied and we were told the first 2 months was only $20 bucks.. but that was never applied either... they don't communicate and will tell you a bunch of nonsense to get you to buy and then harass you when you're a day late and try to take it back after getting hundreds out of you just so they can resale it. Don't do business with these people. Aaron's will at least tell you the price and what you're getting. RAC didn't give us a contract or price or monthly cost until they had it at our house and all set up. We were in shock $1100 of merchandise costs nearly $500 a month. Rip off!!!

Rent-A-Center is a very poor company.
And not poor as in $$, because they're marking up the items they're selling by over 100%.
Not only are they charging people at least 100% OVER ticket prices, but you don't even stick to their word.
They do not clean or sanitize used products like they claim to.
They do not deliver in the window, or even close to the window, given for delivery of the products.
Their customer service skills are lacking.
I was hoping for a good experience as I've never used any kind of rent-to-own type of thing before and I never will again. Thumbs WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY down.

Don't buy anything from this place the company is a scam, worst customer service we ever had and they openly give false advertising. We got a washer and dryer from them and was promised that the units would be clean and be in complete working order, not only were they not clean the dryers heat element was broken. Found dog hair and other unclean things in both the washer and dryer. 
They were 3 hours late getting these to us and they are 1 day and 2hours late getting them back and won't give us a refund til they get the washer and dryer. 
Again do not waste your time and money on this terrible place.

Terrible service. They treat good paying customers like garbage. I had to switch my due dates and it's like pulling teeth. They're all incompetent at that store. Go to any other rent a center in the city. Just don't go there. They need new competent staff and a manager that knows what they're doing.
