From what ive read, its not half bad as what people claim. I went there to simply get my copy of my birth certificate. Signed in, they directed me to the room, of course no customers except me was there, since i went early in morning, and both ladies were very kind and respectful. Went in, got my certificate copy and got out litterally no more than 5 minutes.

So, State of RI, disappointing to note the some things haven't changed. I have been trying to complete an out of state name change since JUNE. 10 phone calls and 2 letters with information to amend my name because while I don't live there any more, I was born there. I can't proceed till I receive something from you, which of course, I haven't. Shall I name names???

No way to apply for anything on their website. You have to actually go to the office. They close at 3:30 but it says parking is restricted until 3..  so... Where do you park then? Rediculous.

Horrible, called can't get thru, strong Spanish accent not able to understand clearly does not answer the phone anytime of the day .....
