Story

The Providence County Courthouse is a Georgian-styled building in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. At a height of 216ft, it is the 11th-tallest building in the city.Architectural historian McKenzie Woodward lauds the building for its contextualism, which defers in its design to the buildings surrounding. Woodward also commends the fragmentation of the building's large mass into "visually digestible units". The building contains the state's court of last resort, the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and the local trial court, the Providence County Superior Court.

The state workers are rude, there is no respect with the staff. I must correct that the majority are like that but few an I mean very few are professional. For example me and a friend went last week we asked sheriff were was the clerks office. An said " ask information " so we walk towards her and she was talking with a co worker about her baby then pulls out her phone and precedes 2 show her pics for like 5 minutes like we weren't even there. So I cleared my throat loudly like we been here tells her friend hold on an rudely said " YES CAN I HELP YOU " like really

been going back and forth to this place for 10 years never had a major problem whatsoever. As long as you know where to go and who to talk to everything go smooth and you're in and out.

This court house is the most illiterate place in the whole country if I could give it a 0 star review I would with out hesitation
