We are driving a 31 foot motor home. Came to Rincon to dance at a square dance for 2 hours. They said there was NO Place for us to park unless we registered for the night. Could not even stay parked in the large area they have for people to park while registering. They said "register or leave."
Not a very good introduction. In 3 weeks of traveling, this is the first time we have been rejected. Most places went out of their way to accommodate us.

Large over-55 RV park with many long-timers living there and some short-term sites available. Very nice facilities and many scheduled activities. Too close to the airport and air force base, so there is aircraft noise during the day. Nice people working. Marked down for the 1,100+ site size and the noise.

Pros:  Very friendly park. Sites are very roomy.  Concrete patios with a picnic table included in every site.  
Cons:  The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is located nearby.  If your dog hates loud noises, which ours does, you should avoid this campground.  Fighter jets fly over numerous times a day and sometimes are very loud.

We have wintered here three years now and love every minute.  So many activities, shows weekly during the winter season. Shuttle buses to local attractions.  If you are bored it is your own fault.

This is my fourteenth year at RCW.  My husband and I first came in our rv and had such a wonderful time that we kept coming back.  After I lost my husband, I purchased a park model on S street and have been very happy with my decision.   I have made so many friends and have partaken of all of the wonderful activities that we have.  It is a wonderful place to spend retirement winters.  Thanks George.
