Almost every time I have refilled my prescriptions I have received unsatisfactory service. I would call to refill a prescription and confirm the pickup time on the phone. Even when the automated system told me it would be done at a specific time, my prescription wasn't ready. There were multiple times I came, after using the automated system, and my prescription was not ready at the appointed time. At that point I asked the pharmacy if there was another way to make sure my prescription would be ready, because the whole point of using the automated system is to save time, so that I will not need to wait at the store until it is ready. They suggested I call and confirm it is ready. The following time I got a refill, I called to use the automated system, which told me to pick up around 11 am. Before coming, I called at 4 pm to ensure that it would be ready. I was told it would be ready in 15-20 min. To give them extra time, I came to pick up my prescription at about 6 pm. When I arrived my prescription was STILL not ready. I have used several other pharmacy's automated systems in the past and never had an issue picking up a prescription at the appointed time the automated system gave me. I was baffled by the fact that this could happen to me so many times, even after mentioning it to the staff, and calling. That night, I was very short with the person ringing me up and asked about how to transfer my prescription because of this ongoing issue. I later apologized for sounding rude, because it was likely not directly her fault. I asked to speak to the manager on duty that evening and explained the reason I was so frustrated with my service at the pharmacy. She took my name and number and said that she would speak to the General Manager, and Pharmacy Manager. I never heard back from any representative at the store. I attempted to have my prescription transferred to a different pharmacy, according to the directions I was given on the night of my complaint. I had the new pharmacy contact Rite Aid. The new pharmacy stated that they were having trouble getting ahold of someone at Rite Aid to do the transfer procedure, and that no one was returning their calls. So I was told I need to get a new prescription written in order to use a different pharmacy. I feel like I am being held hostage as a customer at a Rite Aid that I am not happy with. I do not wish to do any further business with Rite Aid in the future, but they will not even facilitate the transfer of my prescription.

No customer service from pharmacy. Very rude service from Jara! Pharmacy Technician need to be reminded that providing good customer service will bring back loyal customers.

Very rude employees, they don't respect to the costumers. My son was very sick and he needed his medicine quickly and they told me it is gonna be ready after 2 hours. They should be responsible for their rude attitude!!! Never recommend it !!!
