Always enjoy tubing with river riders! We plan social and work events with them a few times a year and they are always awesome! They are friendly and sociable. The only thing I don't like is how smelly the life jackets are... It's not the companies fault but they smell like body odor, maybe try cleaning them a bit more or used a scented soap? The white water trip isn't very intense, but still pretty fun, be careful though because I've gotten some pretty bad scrapes and scuffs from the rocks!

Brennan and Brad were our guides and couldn't have have been more friendly and safe. We opted for the canopy tour, the mega zip line, and quick jump. Brennan and Brad guided us along 8 zip lines along the Potomac. The lines ranged in length and speed, from 250ft to 700+. My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. Bring a smile and sense of adventure and enjoy the day. Reservations made sure we got a spot. We also opted for their lunch and the value was fine. Fresh sandwiches, bag of chips and cookie hit the spot after out canopy tour. The mega zip was super fun. Be sure to ask for superman pose!! Don't bring much with you, on your person. You wear a harness throughout and it will pinch pockets and more! I brought a phone and car key and ID. Athletic clothes recommended. Guides will carry small packs to help with phones/keys. There are other attractions with this business and we intend to return and experience the river trips (tubing and rafting). Highly recommend River Riders.

We had a great morning on the river with our local historian/botany expert/rafting guide, Ben! I was very impressed with how organized they were, the focus on safety, and the knowledgeable and friendly guides. It was an overall terrific way to experience the water and get some time in the great outdoors for adults and kids alike. I had kids aged 7, 9, 11 and 13 in my group, and they all had a blast. It only took us an hour to get there from DC, and felt like a different world!

Great place to enjoy some time outside. The river rider location has a variety of activities including an adventure park, white water tubing, kayaking, zip lining, etc. so there really is something for everyone. I did the white water tubing activity. We had a bus full of 6 people that drove us to the river to drop us off. We almost immediately split from the group. The rapids were so fun. They were not intimidating at all. I would suggest wearing water shoes as some of the rocks are sharp especially with water logged feet. The whole day was about 3 hours. It was very scenic. We were picked up at the end location and there was a nice trail leading to a waterfall at the end! On the ride back it was just me and my boyfriend being picked up. You do have to haul your tube up a fairly steep hill so be ready for that at the end. All in all it was tiring, but definitely a great way to spend the day in Harpers Ferry! I would definitely do this again.

Quick, friendly and fun staff as well as a fun time on the river. If you do the self guided whitewater tour, it's only available for reservation 10am and 2:30 pm and highly recommended. Was lots of fun! Would suggest the 10 am reservation so you get more time on the river. Last pickup was at 5 for us and we barely made it there by few minutes before 5 when we did the 2:30 reservation. Nice waterfall to cool off in at the pickup point too.
