Harpers Ferry/Civil War Battlefields KOA is the perfect base for exploring Washington, D.C., and Civil War battlefields and museums. In fact, our KOA was the site of an 1862 battle! You can see old battle trenches on-site and visit our Civil War re-enactors museum. We are in West Virginia, near Harpers Ferry National Historic Park, just one hour from the nation’s capital. Open all year, we are a wonderful place for long vacations or weekend gatherings. Families love us because of all our activities: swimming, Fun Zone, game room, trails, and much more.
