First time here and really nice. Slots you actually win at and good food. Wish they had free slot drinks. Only setback. But area is beautiful.

Wonderful regional jewel. Beautiful grounds. Very clean hotel with great service. Casino staff are wonderful as well. Food choices and quality needs improving.

A good place to come and enjoy the water/nature. I saw some awesome mountain views on my way here. This is a nice place to come and unwind for the day. The staff were nice and very helpful.

Hubby and I stayed at the end of February at the lodge when the weather wasnt perfect. We have also camped at the state park camp ground over on the other side of the beautiful lake. There is a small beach and swimming area with access only to campers. The park is beautiful with many walks and pathways to suit all levels. Tip: if you have any intention of using the trails, or would like any other info, look online before you go. There were no pamphlets either at the lodge nor the ranger station. There is a casino now at the lodge which is quite large with both slots and tables. There are all kinds of incentives to spend your money ~ again, check the website as they change regularly. Besides driving back to Cumberland and a couple of restaurants locally there isnt much going on, but there are several eateries at the lodge ~ we thought their prices a little high, and the buffet, although varied, was not great.
