The rooms are accurate to the picture. However they con people out of their security deposit. They charged $75 and said we’d get it when we checked out. We didn’t break anything or damage the room. The reason they kept the deposit is because we had a friend come over. They fell asleep and stayed the night. When we checked out they watched us on a camera and said they would not give us back our money since we had an extra guest for a night. So if you stay here expect to spend an extra $75.

Excellent service and well put up rooms. For some reason my room booking got jumbled up due to time zone difference I believe and I ended up reaching to the hotel a day after my booking. The manager was quite helpful and let me book a room for the night and refunded my previous night's booking error. The room was neatly made and Direct TV with almost all channels, that was welcoming. Would stay there again if passing through the panhandle again.

ZERO STARS- DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! This hotel was so run down that we didn’t even want to stay there but couldn’t get out of the reservation so we did anyways. First off, we had to leave a $100 cash deposit which is fine, however they never mentioned that so we had to run down the road to an atm. No big deal. However, when we got back to check in he asked for our ID’s then after seeing I was sixteen & was only with my sister (who is over eighteen and my legal guardian) they said we couldn’t stay in the hotel. I said that was fine and politely asked if we could go ahead and get a refund then, which they denied!! So not only did we have to go somewhere else to have a place to stay on our vacation, they still charged us. Beyond the absolutely disgusting exterior and rickety locks, the staff was incredibly rude as he smirked saying we couldn’t stay & they will do everything they can to rip you off!!!

Leaving now 5-7-2018 I would recommend this place to anyone! Very clean. The beds are amazing. And no bugs, trust me I looked! The people working there were super nice! And the pool was so clean!! We will be staying there again!! Also we did have to pay a 40 dollar deposit but we didnt break anything, didnt have anyone else stay, and didnt steal anything. we got it right back no problem! They even gave us an extra 30 mins on check out because we woke up late!

So last night I decided to take my wife out to a hotel I wanted to do something special for her so I looked around at price and I booked us at the microtel in Panama City Florida worst mistake ever it looks all fancy on the picture so I got us a room and we checked in the room was dirty so I went down and got switched to another room this one was a little better but still dirty sunflower seeds everywhere dirty towels stuff all over the couch , cigarettes inn the pullout bed ... a few months before we stayed at the rodeway inn it was 60 for the room very clean and the manager there she was very nice understood we were locals and just needed a break. It was so peaceful my daughter loved the room the bed was very comfortable, one of the best night sleeps I had in a while. So needless to say price isn’t everything we paid 140 for the microtel and it was horrible so from now on when we need a break the Rodeway inn is our new spot. I will definitely be recommending the Rodeway inn to everyone I know. Thank you.
