Story

Rogue Valley Coin and Jewelry has been locally owned and operated in Medford, Oregon since 1986. The owner has been in the the business full time since 1970. We offer a full service coin shop, which includes rare coins, coin sets, currency, & precious metals (Gold, Silver, Platinum, & Palladium).

We offer a large selection of rare and collectible coins which vary in price and condition to fit the needs of coin collectors both novice and experienced. Precious metals come in many different forms in stock to offer our customers a wide variety of choices and same day delivery on most purchases. We also carry a wide variety of US Mint products such as proof-sets and American Eagle Coins.

Our jewelry department offers high quality jewelry pieces, and diamonds at prices far below retail, and our non-commission staff has years of experience and knowledge to assist you in finding the perfect jewelry piece for any occasion.

I have shopped many Jewelry stores in the rogue valley over the years, and Rogue Valley Coin and Jewelry has outdone every other store time and time again. There is not a better customer service experience to be had anywhere. Jewelry is of the highest quality, and the coin and metals side is by far the most honest, Fair, and helpful coin and metals Department of anywhere I've ever been. Some time ago I went to Rogue Valley Coin and Jewelry looking for a watch. I saw a Citizens that seemed to be priced fairly but when I asked questions about the age of the watch I detected a hostile attitude on the part of the person I had been talking to. It was strange. I remembered the endless ads you hear from Claire on the radio every day telling you to gather up all your gold and silver pieces even dental gold for an evaluation [not an appraisal] an appraisal might be binding ; and you can get an even bigger percentage [ What exactly do they mean here } when you purchase any of their jewelry. I guess someone who finds something they like ,they tend NOT to pay attention to what they are selling or getting for it in cash , ,thinking only of the much bigger percentage they will get when they purchase their desired piece of jewelry. It's all a very cleverly thought out scam. And so later the next day or so, I called and spoke to a lady that had a slight foreign accent. She told me it was Hungarian. O.K. another globalist ,so what.. I mentioned that I had some bits and pieces of gold I would like to apply the value to a watch I had seen earlier that was selling for 90.00$ She said sure . I then asked what the additional percentage would be applied to the watch and she couldn't answer. I asked to confirm the price of the watch and as I expected they jacked up the price to 127.00$ When I mentioned that ,she stated that the watch at that time was on special. But no longer. So whatever larger percentage they claim to offer you when purchasing a piece of jewelry you can expect to lose it after they raise the price of the item. I can offer you 90% discount after I raise the retail by a hundred percent. It's all a clever swindle. Don't be fooled. I think there may be a tribe of jewelers in the area ,many from Hungary. I would never have anything to do with these folks ,not in a million years! Do not BUY here! It's like a car dealer giving you a lot for your trade in ,only to reduce the discount you would've received without a trade in.. It' It's all a big trick.

Very knowledgeable about their gold, and silver coins, bars in various sizes. Friendly willing to spend time with you and Educate you if needed. I would recommend them to anyone!
