This is the pizzeria from my home town.  Like many things from youth, your pizza place is imprinted on you - it is the Ur pizza and all others are judged against it - for good or ill (imagine the folks for whom Pizza Building (not naming it) have as the Ur pizza - my heart goes out to them).  Anyway, the Groman - as a friend dubbed it years ago - is a really good place. I go here - and not for ironic or nostalgic reasons - when I find myself back in Maplewood.  Good times, good times.

Best pizza in town!!!!!!! You have to try a slice or 2 or a pie! I pinky promise you won't regret it!

This might be the best pizza I've ever had.  I live in Cincinnati but when I am traveling through I buy a half cooked one to take home... while I am eating as much as I can there.  They have ones with pesto sauce... fantastic!  Highly recommend.

Roman Gourmet is one of my many favorites to get a quick bite to go. The sauce on the pizza is smooth and the cheese is nice and stringy and I mean that in a good way. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is lovely. A nice restaurant but nothing fancy. Definitely a place to visit.

Roman Gormet is one of the best pizza places in town. Delivery can be a little pricey but is worth it in my opinion. Only downside is delivery time and inability to keep the food hot. Almost lost a star for that but the pizza is too damn good.
