Marlene (the assistant manager) is an odd duck. Not only did she argue with me about things that are what I am an expert on (and not related to jewelry), she tossed out a slew of hyperbole about my experience with the store. How do you effectively argue someone’s opinion of their experience? Wow, just wow. I will never go there again — absolutely a terrible experience. My recommendation is to stay far away from this store!!

This is the only full service jewellery store on the North Shore. The repairs are good, and are often done while you wait, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are pleasant, with the exception of one that’s pure poison. She is pushy, nasty, and highhanded, with a grating voice and ghastly manners. She pushes her way into everybody else’s business and interferes. The last time I ventured into the store she was wearing a dust mask and walking around with a feather duster. This is one freaky female that is hated by customers and other staff members alike. She is the reason for the high staff turnover, and loss of business. I won’t go in if I see she’s there -- I avoid her like the plague -- and lately I’ve been taking my business elsewhere. What’s puzzling is that although the owner knows about her antics, and has received numerous complaints about her, she has not been fired. If it wasn't for her I'd give this business 5 stars.

This Jewellery store staff is very helpful and very kind. They helped me find my gift for graduation, that will be coming from my parents... so I say thank you to them for creating amazing works of art.

This company is the best company I ever dealt with.  For our 20th anniversary, I did not know what to get for my wife, and this company made it so easy for me.  Best of all, the deal I got for a diamond necklace pendant, a diamond bracelet, and a pair of custom made diamond earrings for $4300.  I checked around for the same quality of diamonds and the price range is about $6500-$9000.  What a great deal for my anniversary.  Thank you Romance Jewellers

I had a diamond that I wanted reset and Victor was recommended to me by a friend. I would never have stopped by the shop in Lynn Valley otherwise as this was a custom job and the storefront did not appear that custom work was done there. Previously I had had several quotes to put a 1/2 carat band of diamonds on each side of my stone and the prices really varied to up to $7500 just for that setting.
In the end, I got to choose the diamonds that made the setting, create and change the idea I had to start with and it cost $3200! I was very pleased with Victor's knowledge and patience and the ring he crafted is stunning. I look at it every day with joy and pride. Now that the job is done, he still remains in touch and I can go there any time to have the ring cleaned and checked. I have recommended Victor to a few of my friends and they have been equally as happy with his workmanship, honesty and calm nature.I wish I could upload a photo of my ring...not sure how to do that.

I just posted this and it comes up with my teenage daughter Abriella as the author...lol. I have no idea how to change this...but the entry is sincere and comes from a 50 year old!
