I have purchased many items from Rooms to Go including a sofa about 10 years ago with the scotch guard protection which any potential stains are still removable. My wife and I recently purchased another sofa and spent well over $2K for it and also paid extra for this so called "scotch guard" which I had been thoroughly impressed by with my previous sofa. However this time, the sofa did not hold up like the previous sofa that I still have and we were told that they "no longer use the same scotch guard that they used to" furthermore, the technicians don't even use the same stain remover that is offered at the store. Essentially, we purchased something that they don't stand behind. After countless hours with customer service, the technician and the store manager, we were told that we'd have to get the sofa professionally cleaned or have to purchase a new slip cover which costs an additional $800.00. I have never written a review before but I'm so upset about how they do not stand behind their products and the cleaning technicians make the final call about replacements (not the actual store manager). I run a multi million dollar service firm and if there's a problem, we take responsibility for it with no questions asked. Unfortunately Rooms to Go doesn't operate like this (or at least anymore). Completely disappointed in their customer service and their management. Now we have to replace the slip cover for the additional $800.00 since they aren't willing to give us any type of credit and aren't willing to work with us. While there are plenty of stains on the sofa (which I will admit), I never had this problem cleaning the sofa that I purchased ten years ago which has been through plenty of wine, dirt and chocolate stains. This store is only concerned about their bottom line and not about providing good old fashioned customer service. It's extremely frustrating.

The salesperson at rooms to go was excellent. It was the product and delivery that was the problem. My original delivery date was an all day wait no's specific time. Then I discovered 2 days later that the frame on the dresser was damaged. I immediately called. I was scheduled to get a replacement 3 weeks later. I was scheduled for a delivery between 1-5 today. When it was getting near 3 pm I called. I was never told until I called that I had been rescheduled for between 4-8 pm. I was given the opportunity to reschedule for approximately 3-4 weeks in the future. I will be out of town after this until july. They have rotten delivery service. I just got a call now, while I’m typing this, that they will not deliver until between 6:30-10 pm!!!! What next ...no delivery!!!!! I've wasted an entire day. I would never buy from them again!!!!! If I could I would give a no star review! I am so annoyed and I have no recourse!! I would like to get my money back and buy from somewhere else! (Then I would probably have a problem returning the dresser and getting my money refunded). I wish I had read the reviews before I made my purchase.

I would give 5 star for the customer service. Very easy to find what I wanted and get it purchased. Very friendly atmosphere. Now the reason for 2 stars. When I got the first of two deliveries it did not come with all the parts and now have to wait for it mailed to me. And will take a week for someone to come and put it together. My second delivery is running an hour late as I write this. They told me between 9-1. And after a phone call they told me they were nearby and will be there soon. Not holding my breath on that. No phone calls or anything on the status. I had to call them. This is unacceptable service. Going onto 2 hours now of waiting. Was told they are on there way now and another 30 minutes till they get here. And if you want to reschedule you have to wait 48 hours. So what I see as a customer is, you get it when you get it and nothing else. No next day, no nothing. Total time after the 9-1 was 2 hours and 41 minutes. Do not plan anything if you expect a delivery.

I had a very enjoyable experience here. I was immediately greeted by a knowledgeable representative, Mrs. Elma. She was helpful and not overbearing. I ended up making my purchase and am very happy about the experience. This is a good store and I'll shop here again.

Bob was an excellent sales person. I recommend him for anyone looking for furniture. Very noninvasive and helpful at every step of the purchasing process. I'm very happy with my experience and my new sectional and mattress!
