We came in to buy furniture for my apartment. We weren't even greeted at the door, but as soon as we looked like we were interested in buying the  vultures came in. First thing that got to me was, the man didn't explain the sale correctly and we almost bought the set for more expensive, but luckily my dad looked at it and we had to buy one more item for it to cost less. imagine that. The sales representative said that we would get the set at the specific time (because i have school and i had to be home at a certain time) he said he would put it as there were apartment restrictions from 3-6 and that the second piece of furniture would come in a week later after the first shipment. 
Come to find out that the first shipment would come in from 10-2. Me and my dad argued with the customer service ( TERRIBLE SERVICE BY THE WAY) that i was not going to be home and we had bought the furniture on the assumption that it could be delivered when i was home. Then after arguing with customer service, I was like whatever so i asked to reschedule for the week after. AND THEY COULDN'T DO THAT EITHER!!! Like what?! That doesn't even make sense. So I said to just give me a refund, they were making me and my dad's blood pressure rise. The stupidity is unbelievable. Might as well tell your customers, "we'll deliver whenever we want, when we want". Like why even bother to ask us what time, when you are going to deliberately put it outside of my time frame. We told them specifically what time and they gave us day. So why give us that day when you couldn't deliver within my time frame that makes no sense. 
What really was the cherry on top was that the second couch was going to be delivered a month and a half later. So, I just asked for my money back and I won't ever shop at rooms to go again. This was a complete turn off. Customer service kept trying to talk over my dad and all they kept saying was "Sorry, we can't do anything" with their tone they might as well say "Sorry, but I don't give a f***". I saw someone else say in the reviews here " they deliver when they want where they want". That person is completely right. I will be looking for a corporate number to call as well. The manager Rachel Baker also called my apartment to make sure the restriction was from 3-6, my apartment restrictions are from 9-7, then she accused us of lying when it was the sales representative who put it in like that. Why does that even matter when im not going to be home and i set up the schedule before i bought it. ON TOP OF THAT, WHY IS SHE CALLING MY APARTMENT COMPLEX? NO NEVER AGAIN.

EDIT: Rooms to go did reach out to me and another manager did as well to try to fix the situation. I changed the review to 3 stars. I still ended up getting the refund however at least they did reach out to me. I would've given 4 stars if i wasn't turned off by the fact that the customer service kept talking over my dad and Rachel Baker kept calling me Ma'am on purpose when my dad kept mentioning me as his son.

For the past couple of years i have been purchasing my furniture at Rooms To Go - next to Dadeland Mall. I went on 01/20/2018 to purchase the matching sofa to the one i had purchased on 12/2015. I am fully aware that things change so it is possible that it no longer exist (color). 

I get a sales person by the name of ALVARO ALCALA (sales person # 023732) to take care of us and he looks up my 2015 order and reassures me that they still have that model and color available. i asked him to please please confirm as i know it might not be possible. He brushes me off and say he confirmed and it is still available. when we were at the store looking at the sofas while he's doing the order he asks which brown is my sofa... there were 2 in display so i showed him and again mentioned confirm it please with the order from 2015 to make sure this color is still available (mind you he said he confirmed it 100 times.) 

i received my furniture this past weekend and guess what? i received the dark brown! I went into the store very calm and collective to speak to someone in the office to see if they can fix this issue. They call the sales person ALVARO ALCALA(sales # 023732)  to come and i explained the issue and he decides to start screaming at me in fornt of people & to start saying that we confirmed the order! That he just listens to us and he can't confirm prior orders! at this point it was so disrespectful that i couldn't hold it and asked for the manager. the manager Jorge came immediately and we explained what happened (the ladies in the office were extremely nice and professional) and Jorge asked Alvaro to leave as he was getting loud and rolling his eyes to me in front of everyone. Jorge helped me with my situation and that was that. 

My advice to you is make sure you do not use ALVARO ALCALA as he is very unprofessional and will claim it is your fault if something is wrong.

Domingo, gave me excellent customer service and was patient through my selection. He explained the various options thoroughly and answered all my questions patiently. I can't wait to get my new sofa and furniture for my new entertainment room. I definitely recommend Domingo, he is an excellent sales person.
