This was such a wonderful surprise to find.  I was expecting a petting zoo full of barn yard animals.  What we found was a hands on learning experience with animals of all kinds!  I would highly recommend anyone to take the time to visit.  The staff were friendly and highly knowledgeable.  It was a clean, well kept and the animals were well cared for.  All on all I had a wonderful experience!

We took my granddaughters there for an afternoon. It was very nice and we loved feeding all the animals. A young worker brought a giant tortoise and a baby kangaroo closer for us to touch and pet. I have lived in northern Michigan all my life and did not know we had such a great point of interest so close. I would recommend this trip for all ages.

I had 3 very excited kids in the car on our way and I double checked the hours before we went. It said the last admission was at 4 pm. We arrived at 3:30 pm to find they were closed. Not impressed. Perhaps your hours  should be updated.
