Good clothing and accessories at great prices. Usually friendly and helpful staff. Selection of products in a particular size can often be poor though.

I will NEVER shop at this Ross or any other Ross store again. This particular location has the worst customer service I have ever seen! The lines are ridiculously long, none of the employees that are working the floor ever come up for back up, the cashiers are rude and the store itself just looks poorly put together. Nothing is organized, the clothes sizes aren't sorted. The home section of the store looks like they just threw things on the shelf with no particular order. After waiting in line for over 20 minutes on a Tuesday afternoon when it was not particularly crowded, I encountered a pregnant cashier that was extremely rude and irritable. She did not bag my items and she was too busy caught up in her personal conversation to help me with the card reader which was not working properly. After checking out, with no bags, I went to the door but realized that I cannot take the cart outside. I then had to carry all of what I bought in my arms, while the security guard just watched me struggle to my car. One of my items broke on the way but the wait to return it was just not worth trying to take it back. Overall, I will never spend another penny at this store!

It's the most affordable place for me personally to shop the employees are okay for the most part. Lines can be very long and very slow with only 2 registers out of 8 open. But clothes, shoes, bags, and home decor is usually pretty great. I keep going back so I'll give it 4 stars because it's always my go to

I was at Ross at South Square one Sunday afternoon, and had a terrible experience with a middle aged, Caucasian lady who manned the fitting rooms. Since I am of Middle Eastern descent, she was evidently racially profiling me based on my ethnicity. She spoke to me in a very disparaging fashion by asking me to hang up the clothes on the rack for her benefit. And then when I got out of the fitting room, she chided me again for not putting the clothes back on the hanger. She made me feel like an errant, misguided child. In sum, the woman's attitude was beyond abysmal, and opened up a whole new Pandora's box of racial discrimination and bigotry. Such deplorable attitudes should be monitored by the managers, and employees with such a warped perspective of their fellow human beings should be fired. The woman's attitude was extremely hurtful to me, but in turn gave me valuable insights into mainstream America's views about Middle Eastern Americans in this country. We will always be marginalized despite our advanced degrees and high powered jobs that we hold in American societies. The woman's despicable attitude was just a microcosm of that reality, and provided me with a snapshot of racial hatred in this country. I encourage all fellow immigrants to hold their heads high and combat such uncalled for discriminatory practices in this supposedly "liberal society." I also urge businesses to hold classes on cultural diversity and racial sensitivity in order for employees to deflect from these unsavory practices towards people of color.
