I made this mistake in June 2017 guy nickel and dime me to death.  He actually wanted me to continuously bring him cash for this and that.  I was charged over $1700 and he delivered the truck back to me in worst condition than I sent it.  He has yet to provide me with a bill or an itemized statement of what he actually did.  He did write down on the back of someone else’s business card once that I’d given him $500 cash so there is that receipt.  After several broken assurances and many weeks passing, he then dropped the truck off with no anti-freeze in it at all.  I received promise after promise and not a one was kept.  I eventually received the truck back and could easily identify that he only replaced about $200 in parts (the main part being a non Land Rover battery that he claimed i needed factory at a price of $225) and he did not buy the Land Rover factory parts he clearly charged me for. On top of that, the battery wasn’t even bolted down when i opened the bonnet.  I was disgusted, guy had my truck for over a  month.  There’s more but I think you get the idea.
I would not recommend anyone waste their time and money with this guy.  Take it to the dealer and bite the bullet, you’ll thank me later.
