Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The vibes at Ruin are super hip and relaxing with the coolest vintage decor that works! Menu is constantly being updated with fun new drinks - get there early for a seat! Parking in the front or the the back works well. Bartender JC is rad - will make you a custom cocktail!
The Ruin Bar is small. The drink menu is unique and the decor is pretty cool. This is not a place for large groups and the drinks do take a bit of time to make. We came here midweek and we were pretty much the only people in the place, but that was fine with us. We had some really nice cocktails and took some super social media worthy photos. Overall this is a nice spot for some day drinking and there are some nice food options at The Lab as well.
Came to the Ruin Bar at recommendation of a couple local friends. It is in The Lab in Costa Mesa. This is a GREAT place to get some craft cocktails. The bartenders are great and well knowledgeable of taste patterns as well of any modifications. Location itself is a mix of hipster and dive, but the decor was very intentional. Definitely a great place for a date for a couple of pre/post dinner drinks or small group of friends. I would gladly come back.
I loved this little bar. It was so quirky and cool. Everywhere you looked had something unique on the wall or somewhere strange to sit. I can’t even remember the name of the drink I got but I remember it was fantastic and worth the price tag. Can’t wait to return.
Cool atmosphere. Small bar inside. Seating inside and outside. Intimate. Good music and vibe. Good drinks. No food served i believe.
A girl brought me on a date. Monday night and it was pretty busy, great vibe and great cocktails. Coming from LA I wasn’t expecting to be impressed by weird decorations, but this tiny place is dope.
Cool spot. The barkeep was great, prices what you would expect in that area. Not much room outside to gather. Parking sucks.
Great cocktails. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE DJ’s. Its a quaint cocktail bar why in the world are you blasting club music?!?! LMAO. Used to be cool.
