Reservation is a must or will be setting at the bar. It's a very expensive place to eat but just a walk away from the theater. The food options is less but the salmon was the best. Yet, the chocolate mousse cake was delicious and pretty.Food: 5/5
Amazing. Came for an early dinner before Aladdin and was blown away. Fantastic service, and the food quality and presentation were impeccable. The risotto was the best I have ever had, beating out Gordon Ramsey's lobster risotto at Hell's Kitchen. The Aladdin special dessert, the saffrom white chocolate mousse, was gorgeous and delicious. The short rib was melt in your mouth. Great experience.
Came to dine with my parents and the menu was not the same as on myths website. It was a limited menu and parts of the drink menu they did not have. According to the GM they had been open for 2 days..? After all was done we did dine but a little disappointed as I did want to have some selections on the online menu. They were kind to comp a dessert and a few drinks to make up. Maybe once they have been open for a while I will make another visit.
Dinner was very good and Josh, our server, was fantastic. Very well trained and treated us great.
Ordered Halibut with Tomato soup. Fish was little dried, Tomato soup was little salty but staff members were very nice. They were the best but not the food.Outdoor seating: NoDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: No
We were very impressed with this place. The service was meticulous and very hospitable. We walked in without a reservation, and the hostess did everything she could to get us seated. The maitre'd made sure the busboy cleaned the chairs and the the counter before we were seated at the bar. We observed the bartender quickly inspecting every glass before pouring wine. He was also very attentive. The bar is well stocked with a good variety of scotch and other whiskies. The food is pricey, and the portions are small. However, all the ingredients are high quality, very fresh, and delicious. There are vegetarian options, but not for entrees. We'll definitely go back.
We dined here because we were attending a play at nearby a short walk away Segerstrom Theater. Although the menu wasn't real full, there was enough variety for us to each find a nice entree to enjoy. The food was delicious, and the service quite efficient and friendly. We will do this again whenever we attend this theater. The discount on valet parking was also a nice touch, and very convenient for us.
We went here to wait for the show to start in the Segerstrom Center. It looked like a nice enough place, and we sat at the bar since we weren't hungry. The bartender was cheerful and companionable, and we had a fine time chatting about the different exotic Scotch malts on the wall, the history behind various liquors, National Parks we'd all enjoyed, traveling, and whatever came to mind. The prices were a bit high, which is only to be expected at a place so close to the theater.
Fantastic experience! Al the manager was fantastic and treated us wonderfully even though we had come in as they were closing. Will definitely visit again when we are in town!
I stopped in for a Manhattan before I headed over to see Peter Pan. It was a quiet night, with Pan being the only performance so there were only a few others in the restaurant besides myself. I sat at the bar and chatted with the host. Both the conversation and the Manhattan were excellent. Had a glance at the menu but I ran out of time. Lovely place, but it is very expensive. You're paying for the fantastic venue in which you sit, the Segerstrom Hall itself, as well as having all of the Performing Arts Center and South Coast Rep at arm's reach.
