If you want great customer service at a place where the associates really are passionate about what they do, go to Runner's Block. They have a pad that analyzes your arch, pronation, etc and then they can recommend good shoes for you. I don't look like an athlete, but they always treat me well. Great place. Would love to see it expand, and I'm sure it will if they keep up the great work!

They have a pad that analyzes your arch, pronation, etc and then they can recommend good shoes for you. I don't look like an athlete, but they always treat me well. Great place. Would love to see it expand, and I'm sure it will if they keep up the great work!

Before spending over $100 on a pair of shoes, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere first. At the beginning of June, I bought a pair of ASICS running shoes. I was concerned that the heel might be a little too tight, but the saleswoman said that they would loosen the more I wore it and it shouldn't be a problem. Now, a month later, I can not wear my shoes without forming a nearly two inch blister on my right heel. And to top it off, the sole is separating from the body of the left shoe after fewer than 25 uses. I called Runner's Block and informed the salesman about the poor fit of my shoe. Before I could even mention the separating sole, I was told that the store will not accept returns of shoes other than in new condition. I have worn a pair of cheap $39 Nike shoes for four years that are in better shape than these one-month old ASICS. I am very disappointed that Runner's Block will not consider a refund of a shoe that is falling apart after less than a month on the running trails. I should have listened to my inner voice and not purchased these shoes. Now I am stuck with a pair of month-old shoes that are falling apart and give me blisters. You would think that a pair of shoes originally worth over $100 would last longer.
