Story

Welcome to Rustica, an independent, owner-operated, neighborhood bakery. We offer you a unique selection of breads, pastries and dessert tarts. Some of these may be new to you, others more familiar. Everything we bake is made with premium ingredients, from flavorful, consistent flours, to rich, cultured butter and a rich assortment of fruits, nuts and chocolates. We believe that the best baked goods are made using labor intensive processes, which include long dough fermentation times, hand-shaping and baking on a hearth stone. We don't believe in short cuts. The result is that our breads have full, complex flavors, a range of textures and a naturally longer shelf life.

Our approach to baking is simple. We focus on people, process and ingredients. Our goal is to achieve high quality products which emphasize taste, texture and seasonality.
