If there was a -5 stars I would surely use it for this place. We went there after our Hotel Concierge suggested them The place was half empty and after wasting 20 minutes of our time, they told us that they could not serve us. I was it total shock, never did this happen before. I was livid, went elsewhere (and they were amazing) and when I returned to the hotel later I was told that another two couples went there after us and were seated with no problem. I later received a phone call (because they disliked my review) and was told that unfortunately at that time they had an inexperienced teenager running the restaurant... the owners went to Malta on vacation. Seriously? What kid of excuse is that. The place is HORRIBLE, looks old, dirty and poorly maintained. I am glad in a way that we had to leave.

Attending a private event here for a wedding rehearsal and was very impressed. They set up cocktail hour on their outside patio, complete with outdoor servers for drinks and appetizers . Dinner was separate from the rest of the restaurant in a back room connected to the patio. The service was great, and the food was even better! Will definitely be going back to check out the restaurant on a regular night.

Horrible experience. Just got in town from Connecticut and the concierge at our hotel strongly recommended this for dinner. We went there, the place was half empty and we were turned away for not having a reservation... are you kidding me??? This isn't RAO's... and even there they do all they can to accommodate me. The food that went by while waiting... looked average. The service of course was terrible

We often go there for happy hour specials. Great menu selection and everything is delicious.

I've been to Rustico a few times.  Each time the experience brought good food and polite service. The Caesar salad is a little different,  but tasty.  The lamp and filet were wonderful, the cavileti pugliesi  (sausage pasta) was a little greasier than I'd prefer, but flavorful.
