Shoe repair WARNING in Helena!!

I’d had my boots repaired before by Ryan’s Shoe Repair in Helena without any problems, and with good quality work. 
Now, since his daughter is doing the work, this has changed. She is apparently incapable of doing the work correctly, or with any degree of quality. She’d actually cut the heels of my boots down by more than an inch, just to replace rubber walking part of the heel. She then was also very rude when I complained about her work, and she refused to correct her mistake. 
Ryan’s Shoe Repair used to do good quality work. Now, I would not have my dog’s water boots worked on by them for any type of repair. 
I would suggest to stay far away from this outfit if you like your shoes or boots.
I had to buy a new pair of boots, since she had cut down the heal of his boots to degree that I could no longer wear them without pain in my back.
In the past, I had referred friends and customers to Ryan’s Shoe Repair. This turns out to be a mistake I can no longer afford to make.

Professional & Helpful! I received my wedding shoes from a store online and when they arrived, they were too big. It was going to be a huge hassel to return the shoes so I decided to see if Mr. Ryan could help. After reading the reviews here, I decided to walk in instead of call. When I arrived, he immediately greeted me (while he was helping a customer) and then came right over to help me when the customer left. Within 5 minutes he checked out my shoes, put something in the back to make the shoes fit, I tried them on and they fit perfectly!! All for 5 dollars!! Mr. Ryan was helpful, friendly, professional and CLEARLY knew what he was doing... after all, he has been doing shoe repair/book making for 25+ years! I HIGHLY recommened him!
