The deli section has good fried rice & chicken tenders. Store as a whole has decent prices & often good sale prices on various items. The only downside is that during rush hour,  there tends to be 2 or 3 checkers and very long lines/significant waiting.   Customer service is very helpful on the rare occasion there's an issue at checkout.

Nice store. Always seems busy though. A little  Expensive unless you have coupons. They do have a good coupon app that can save money. Always had Friendly service. I Think it has the best produce in Cheney.

This is one of, if not the worst Safeway I’ve ever been to. They never have enough cashiers working so the lines are always incredibly backed up. After 7:45 at night they block off one entrance, which is fine since all Safeway’s do that, but they also partially block off the open entrance, forcing you to go through the check out lanes or to the other end of the store to get to the shopping. The produce is terrible, don’t bother trying to get lettuce here. Unfortunately this is the closest grocery store to my house so I have to go here more than I’d prefer to.

Under staffed. The staff that was available was friendly and helpful, just not enough for a Saturday afternoon. I will give it a second chance as their prices, quality, and selection were good.

The staff and the store are fine, but the crowd it attracts needs to take a little more time with making themselves ready to be in public. As a customer of this location for over seven years, I've seen it decline with loitering, solicitation, and stuff parents with kids should be outraged about. Back to the store, it's stocked  and has a helpful staff. Just know they have frequent dealings with underscum, and this kind of exposure can rub on a human.
