It's a new place, so discount most of the negative reviews here. It's the first true business to open along that stretch of 21st S in YEARS, and I couldn't be happier. They're getting the routine down after my partner and I were there before the grand opening. Now the service is fast and always friendly. And the food is the same excellent quality you'd expect at the other locations. Welcome to the neighborhood!!

The restaurant was beautiful, bedecked in art in the theme of many counties of India, and a small shop offering a few items people might be interested in. There are both high and low tables they offered, depending on how we wanted to dine. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had several allergies to contend with, and instead of getting frustrated in the least, our waitress, Lizzy, went out of her way to accommodate our needs and even offer recommendations on what would fit our needs and tastes, after asking what we usually enjoy. When she didn't know about an allergy she went and asked to make sure that we were safe with our choices. The food was absolutely incredible, and when you ask for a mild dish, it's actually mild. I heard about Saffron Valley from a coworker from India, when I asked her where to find the best truly authentic Indian food in the valley. This place did not disappoint and even outshone her description. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Food was delicious but they have a different menu than the other Saffron Valley in the Avenues and the dishes are prepared differently. Atmosphere doesn’t feel like an Indian restaurant; more of a modern trendy casual. Not bad, just unexpected. Definitely tasty though!

New place, good ambience. Overpriced for the quantity and quality of food they serve. Quality and taste can be much better there are other restaurants with better quality in Salt Lake valley. Quality does not justify the price at all. Good restaurant in terms of looks and an ordinary one in terms of food!

I get to Saffron Valley and told to take a menu and to go sit at a table. And so I sit. And I sit. And some people come in and they are also seated. So I continue to sit. Now more people are seated. And so I continue to sit. And those that sat after me become friends with someone who introduced themselves as Waitress. I then check the time and I had been sitting for 25 minutes. While I sat, I sat alone. No one came up to me and asked me if I wanted a drink. No one came up to me and told me they were my waiter for the evening and to give them one moment and they'll be right back. All I did was sit. That chair was comfortable though and close to an open window so if you're looking for a good place to sit I give Saffron Valley a 5/5.
