This is a great, low key way to experience the Maine coast. The owners were very friendly to me and I had many nice conversations with them. They even let me pet their beautiful standard poodle dogs. They also went out of their way to provide us with a lobster dinner and let us borrow from their extensive DVD Library. Our site had full hookup with a view of the water. The area is very bucolic and the scenery is beautiful. When the tide is in you can go kayaking and swimming, but when the tide is out it is suitable only for clamming. The owners were very helpful and suggesting areas to explore in the five islands area and we had a lot of fun. I thought the price was reasonable for a waterfront Campground. The owners work very hard to keep the place in top condition. I would definitely come again.

Amazing place to get away. I am reluctant to recommend because I want to make sure I can always get a spot. We loved this place. It is so quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed walking to the bay everyday to dig clams and serve them fresh for lunch or dinner. We also took advantage of the steamed local lobsters delivered to your campsite. They were the best lobsters I ever had. The hookup are well located and the WiFi worked! We plan to make the trip yearly. This is not really the best place for children if they need to be entertained. There is no park or pool. It was perfect for two adults with two dogs.

Finding this place online was a great discovery. Pat, the owner was a wonderful host. Very nice to go on a long walk during lowtide. Our tent site was Oceanside. Having lobster(alive or cooked) delivered was a treat!! Ever so special was the mornings when I got out of the tent, made coffee and enjoyed the sunrise on the Atlantic Ocean. I would love to return someday!!!

Well-maintained campground, charming location, helpful owners. We stayed here recently with our new camper. We picked one of the more remote sites away from the water and loved it. The site was a little tricky to get into with our 25-foot trailer, but once we were it was wonderful. Eric was a big help in helping us shoe-horn in. We were stretching the limits of a "pop-up trailer" site. Sagadahoc has a lot of very private sites tucked away in odd pockets which is very charming. Just stay away from the two areas with a lot of sites right near the water, one for tents and another for RVs. These two areas were busy the weekend we were there, but the other sites were not. This place is on our "would like to come again" list.

Pat and Eric were awesome hosts!! They were both very helpful in giving us hints and ideas of places to go and see. We had a little hiccup on our way up to the campground and they bent over backwards to help us get in on the first night. Beautiful family (and dog) friendly campground. Excellent views! We will definitely return here one day!!
