They had me involved in what was happening with my vehicle, it was nice. Relatively fast, comfy waiting room. My brother and I both bought cars from them and the sales service was phenomenal, and I've been equally as pleased with the service. The only negative comment I could make is that they charge a lot for parts, but what shop doesn't? Overall I'd trust them with my car, and know it's being done well and right.

St. Johnsbury Subaru was not where I ended up purchasing my vehicle, but they were by far the most responsive and customer friendly establishment that I contacted. I was looking for a used car and they had one that I wanted in stock so I set up an appointment to see it the next day. Eugene Darling, who helped me out, was very helpful, except then the car was sold the evening I contacted them and so I couldn't get it. 

I don't fault them for that because I put no claim down on the vehicle, although I wish I had been more explicit when talking to them about wanting to see them. That being said, Eugene then referred me to his manager and the three of us were in great contact throughout the week. 

As I said, the service I received was excellent and professional, but it was a bummer the vehicle I was looking at was sold without me getting a warning first.

I was taken advantageof as an old lady brining my car in for a recall. Had issues with the car and had to trade it in. It was a 2007 SUBARU Imperz with 60,000 miles, I was only given $3000 for it. Friends and family are now telling me that this was not a very fair deal. As an older person I would assume that they would of had more respect and not try to cheat me.  Have also been a long time customer with them, not any more.

I hardly know what to say, the book value of my car was nearly $5,000 and yet their offer was $750. Considering they wouldn't give but a few dollars off of retail for the car they were trying to sell me I felt like I was being conned. In good conscience I don't think I would recommend a friend buying a vehicle here.

My husband and I went in to buy a new car and ended up buying a 2016 WRX with 15,000 miles on it. We foolishly paid full price of a brand new one and also added on an almost 2,000 bumper to bumper warranty. During the sales process they were great. We worked primarily with a salesman named Dan whom under different circumstances we would buy from again! About a month after buying the car the turbos stopped working and lost almost all of the power the car had. We brought it in and they replaced one of the computers (covered in the warrenty) and all was well for about three weeks. Now 8 times out of 10 when I try to start the car it doesn't start and needs to be jump started. So once again we brought it in and they tested the battery and said the battery was fine and there was nothing else they would do. Since the issue is reoccurring we brought it in a second time to which the service department was less than professional talking with my husband about the car. So now it looks like I am stuck with a $32,000 vehicle that more often than not does not start and a 2,000 warrenty that apparently does not cover vehicles that need to be jump started every day... Next time I'll skip the headache and go elsewhere to purchase a vehicle...
Update: my husband brought my car in for the 4th time today due to my car not starting. Once again they refused to look into the problem. They also said they paid my trade in off completely and no money would be rolled onto my loan. Come to find out they put 2k on my current loan from my trade in. The owner also was very unprofessional and told my husband that his buisness is a private buisness and we are no longer allowed to bring our wrx there! I would never recommend buying or servicing vehicles there. Terrible service from both sales and service department! It is winter I have small children and a vehicle that does not start 8 times out of 10.. unbelievable!
Update: my clutch went at 37 thousand miles! 100 miles after my factory warranty! And that extended warranty they pressured us into buying doesnt cover a clutch. Funny because I specifically asked if it did and my salesman said it did. Called corporate Subaru and brought it to the dealer in Berlin. They were much more helpful and pleasant to deal with. Although it was not covered under warranty they gave us a fair deal on the new clutch. We will be bringing my car to Berlin for any further car buying and repair needs!
