I had an AWESOME experience here. I am lucky that they were able to fit me in same day appointment because someone had cancel theirs. My hair stylist is Kara and she is a very nice and beautiful lady. She listens and gives very good advice about your hair. She fixed my hair that Great Clips had screwed up on. They just dont cut your hair, they make it beautiful! I left the salon very satisfied and happy! I will be going to her from now on.

I went in for a haircut because of all the good reviews. I have long, thick, course hair and wanted layers. She was slow and she seemed distracted, always looking out the window. She left my hair choppy and uneven. I kept thinking to myself, she will even it out, it will look better. It didn't. Then with blow drying she didn't even style it. I am horrible with doing my hair nicely so I look forward to the blow drying and styling portion of the haircut, the one day I can look fabulous and have bouncy, frizz free hair. But that day never came for me. I left with flat, choppy, sad hair. It may have just been one bad hairdresser but I am never going back. It's been a few months since I got the cut but I still look at my hair in disappointment.

I'm just disappointed. I went in for a color and showed three pictures of what I was interested in. This was a huge step for me, I've never gotten my hair dyed professionally and I saved up money so that I could do this. I had my appointment with Taylor. I initially went in for a consultation (I live in Stevens Point so I had to drive 35 minutes), during which Taylor basically said "We might not be able to do this to your hair" and tried to send me on my way. After MY suggestion, we did a test piece (with Hannah?), and Taylor said, "yes we can put purple on that." So I went back for my appointment where I once again explained what I wanted, and Taylor tells me it's going to be $215. When I called to make the appointment I was told $150. Not a huge big deal, I was excited for the new hair. After 4 hours of work, the end result was not what I asked for. Taylor told me she couldn't do blue because of my hair, that's fine I wanted purple mostly. But the pictures I showed her, I would have been happy paying $215 for them. What I got on my head, not really worth $215 to me. It's not "WOW". I wanted "WOW". It's too subtle and not as bright as I was hoping. Positives: Yes what I received is pretty. Taylor was an amazing human being and was so nice and friendly through the whole thing. I do like my hair. But I'm disappointed it wasn't what I asked for. I can't post pictures to this review, sadly. I wanted super bright crayon-color-purple and pink with a black on top ombre. I received a really dark colored hair with tiny dull purple highlights that you can barely tell are there. Basically, I won't be back in for a color any time soon.
