Hands down the best natural hair care salon in DC. I’ve been a client since 2013 when I moved to DC. I would recommend this salon to any person for any hair care need as both their clientele and staff are diverse. You don’t have to spend all day here-but you can if you want! I see Gayla and I love her. They offer coffee/tea/water while you wait. Available products for sale are great. I will be sad to leave this salon behind if I ever leave DC.

It's OK. The stylist talked with me about my daughters hair and basically just reiterated what I already knew. Would I visit again: probably until I secure a stylist that does natural hair only in their shops. When that is found then I'll know that every need will be met for my daughters natural hair care needs. All in all the shop was clean, quiet (not a lot of chatter and no peddling of socks, etc. like in other shops I've visited), well maintained, I think I met the owner who discussed products to use for bringing out natural curls. My baby is 11 so She's not quiet there yet. But if you are in the area, try them out because their customer service is great!!!

This place is literally the best natural hair salon I've ever been to and worth every penny spent. They can service African American hair and Caucasian hair. They take their time, the service is amazing, and they make you feel and look beautiful by the time you leave. You won't regret it here. Nobody's hair is too thick or too thin, too short or too long they can work with it all. They definitely have a returning customer out of me.

My appointment was at 7am. No one was there to open the door and I stood out in the cold. The shampoo girl arrived late and I waited for her to open the salon. My stylist was not there to greet me. Yodit is popular but arrogant. Be vocal about what you want. She gives everyone the same cut

I love this hair salon, mainly because they are wonderful with my natural Black hair, but they service all different hair-types and styles with phenomenal care. They offer complementary beverages while you wait for your appointment. My stylist is Heran, and she may not know it yet but she’s stuck with me for life :)  Overall, completely satisfied with my experience. Be prepared to pay high-end prices for top-notch hair treatment and services!
