Samantha Banks is an absolutely amazing colorist and stylist!  After years of coloring my gray hair, I thought the best I could expect was a “helmet head” of dark brown or bleach blond. Sam has transformed my hair and it now has natural-looking shades and depths of color.  Sam is also an expert in cutting curly hair, a skill that is hard to find among stylists. My hair now has shape and bounce evenly distributed on all sides. Thanks to Sam, I regularly get compliments on my hair from friends and complete strangers.  I highly, highly, highly recommend Sam!

I'm going on 19 years with Samantha and I'm still happy. If anything she's  added more skills during those years.  I won't let anyone else touch my hair.  My hair hasn't been this healthy and long since I was a child.  Samantha is a perfectionist and she won't let you leave her chair until both you and her are satisfied.  A++

From the boho-chic decor to the diverse staff and clientele, Owner, Samantha Banks has created a modern oasis for the urban professional woman. As her marketing clearly states, she and her staff have mastered providing "an elevation in the art of hairdressing, servicing a variety of hair textures with expert hair color and precision hair cuts." Not only is this mantra true, but her commitment to service, comfort and sophistication is felt in every client visit.  

Maybe it is her Jamaican heritage that allows her to provide such a welcoming, lush, organic environment so effortlessly. 
A literal "break" from the grind, BESPOKE has an air of tranquility that is not only felt in the fresh green, white and chocolate decor, but in how each client is coerced into a state of relaxation via her luxurious services. 

And for all the aforementioned reasons, I highly recommend you visit Samantha Banks and her staff whenever you are in D.C.  As a former client, it is only the miles that keep me from being a regular in Ms. Banks chair. 

With so many "on demand" services required in order for a business to survive in an "always on" consumer marketplace, it is a pleasure to find that there are some business owners who still believe in the craft of a unique customer experience. BESPOKE, as the name suggests, is exactly that -- a crafted experience in hair. This salon is a rare find, 
and Samantha Banks is the gem that keeps it shining.
