It's a beautiful facility. I use the facility at 5:30am and I swim, run, use weights, cycle, and do yoga. It's fantastic that Sammamish has something that is so nice. When reading the other people's reviews it looks like they are all frustrated because they must be using the facility during peak hours. If they woke up earlier they wouldn't have this problem.

I am disappointed with the swimming pool schedule,  I have the same issue last year and gave up membership. Joined this year to see if it is better but this time is worst. 

    Be assured if you are YMCA adult member you cannot use the swimming pool if that is part of your exercise. If you want to use swimming pool you need to give up your job and wait when the lap is free in the day time.

I complained to every staff about the pool schedule that it is filled with some kind of activity as a member I cannot use it and emailed to YMCA director, no reply.

The reply I got from two staff is to use the pool in the morning hours. I told I need to go for job during day time.  Not helpful at all, waste of money....I gave up membership to find another Gym in Issaquah.

Very frustrated with the lap pool schedule. They schedule all kinds all activities, events, lessons in the lap pool to the point that I can't make good use of my paid membership to swim as an exercise. there is very few lane open for lap swim at most time. The most recent couple of times I've been there, I've always to share the lane with one or two other guys. 

Take a look at the attached schedule. 

I'm considering switching to a different gym.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STAR IF I COULD!!!

This is the fifth time we were forced to not use the pool after we signed up for the membership. There were kindergarten event, then an elder event, church event..., when they happens, even when we were in the pool, we were forced to leave and chill in the cold air for an hour!

As a paying member, I brought kids to the pool last Saturday for the fifth time in the past month. To our disappointment, they were holding yet another event of some birthday party. A staff told us that we were not allowed to swim in the kids pool, but in the lane swimming pool. 

Just a few minutes after we got into the water, another lifeguard came in and ordered us to leave with a very condescending attitude, as if we were not welcomed. She then threatened that she would call security to remove us. This is absolutely the rudest person I've ever met in my adult life.

AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN! I just cancelled my membership and will never come back.

Tried to volunteer here but they were selecting high schoolers and younglings.  They didn't really want a 40 hour a week individual setting aside their two days off for them....  Sorry but not coming back.  Clearly age discrimination.  Found better volunteer opportunities.
