Two months ago, I was given a temporary crown. I thought the pain that I was feeling was normal, so I did not think to complain at the time. That was until several people I spoke to advised that it was not normal to feel pain and that I should contact them first thing Monday morning. I did contact their office and was advised that they could not see me until the following day because they were at a different office. They were kind enough to call in 800mg Ibuprofen to help ease the pain until they could next see me. I was there early the next day and they drilled the temporary crown down and said that because it was not fitting correctly and it had been that way for several days, I might feel some discomfort from damage sustained to my nerves, but it would mainly just be a sensitivity issue since the temporary crown is made of temporary material. They assured me that when the permanent crown came in I would no longer feel pain and instructed me to refrain from eating on that side of my mouth until the permanent one came in. They then stated that they would “expedite” my crown; so instead of two to three weeks it should come in in one week. A week later, I called to see if the crown had come in and I was advised that “expedite” meant one to two weeks, not one and that my crown had not yet been received. After running out of the Ibuprofen three days later, I called back and asked if I could have a refill. I know that I could take four Advil on my own, but the prescription is gentler on my stomach and I understand that it is less harmful on my kidneys. I was made to feel like I was a crackhead begging for a fix and like a wimpy person that really was not in pain. I explained that the pain wakes me up throughout the night and all day long it is a chronic pain. Several years ago, I had third degree burns on my whole left arm and hand… I KNOW PAIN AND I’M NOT A WUSS. I am not having just “sensitivity,” I am having PAIN. Granted, it’s not third degree burn pain, but it is strong, constant pain. Add that they never would refill my prescription; not after I called and not after I had my pharmacist contact them. I called them yesterday and again today to check the status of my permanent crown and it finally came in. I was so happy that this whole stupid ordeal was finally going to come to a close; however, I was then advised that they could not see me until NEXT TUESDAY because they are not at this location until that time and could not see me at the other office (which is weird, because three weeks ago they were there on a Friday because I took my kids there for their appointments. I guess it is possible that they are not there every Friday.) I AM SO STUPID FRUSTRATED: I AM TIRED OF THE PAIN; I’M TIRED OF BEING MADE TO SEEM LIKE I AM COMPLAINING OVER WHAT THEY SEEM TO THINK IS JUST MINOR SENSITIVITY; AND MY STOMACH (AS WELL AS I’M SURE MY KIDNEYS) ARE TIRED OF THE MASSIVE AMOUNT OF ADVIL I HAVE HAD TO CONSUME OVER THE LAST TWO WEEKS. I also want to add that all this wonderful service has been given to me when I HAVE insurance. I would surely hate to think how I would be treated if I did not have any. So, if you are looking for a new dentist, I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU TO LOOK ELSEWHERE. (Please note, I do promise to update this after my permanent crown has been put in. I certainly hope I can have something positive to add to this rather than a continuation of my less than wonderful experience with the San Antonio Dental Center) Well... I initially took down the review because I had to go back for the permanent crown and I didn't want them upset with me for writing the review. BUT.. since they have totally ruined my mouth, I am putting it back up and will include a photo of what I looked like after they put the permanent crown in. THE TOOTH THAT HAS THE PERMANENT CROWN IN STILL HURTS. They tried to say it was because I possibly grind my teeth at night so I purchased a mouth guard through them. Well.. MY MOUTH STILL HURTS. I am now out almost 1000 and having to go to a new dentist to try and fix what they did..

Went there today for my son's first checkup ever, he's 11 months, I literally called them the day before and they said they were able to see him. Signed papers really fast, they were super friendly with him which made me less nervous and probably helped him feel comfortable there, doctor cleaned his teeth gave me some advice and we were out of there in less than an hour. Very very pleased with that first visit, hope they continue to give us that great service.

WARNING! DO NOT GO HERE! This goes for both locations. After receiving a botched root canal at the other location, I came here to get it fixed (hoping Aryan would be better than the younger guy at the other location). Was never able to get it fixed. Often had long wait times. Once had to be rescheduled entirely due to their scheduling system being down (really?). All about money here. Aryan (I won't even refer to him as a doctor) is all about business. Overbooks. Shoddy work. While the other guy botched my root canal, Aryan himself botched my girlfriends filling. She otherwise has perfect teeth, never had a filling in her life. They bullshitted that she needed a filling, screwed that up, tried to refer us to a specialist (who I'm sure is their cover guy). Thankfully we went somewhere else and got the truth, but she still needs a root canal now. These guys should not be in business. Do not go here. Save yourself the trouble and money.

Waiting almost two hours and still not seen for my scheduled appointment. What a complete lack on f professionalism and respect for the community this facility is suppose to serve. I'm sure the doctor is great, but the support staff from the flunky office manager on down, really lack in their ability to take care of their clients. I'm sure if you can make it past the gontlet of the front office, you might actually have a good experience. Now to be fair, there were two members of this team that truly did seem sincere and apologized for the shabby service provided. Thank you ladies, you were absolutely the best part of my visit.....(front desk lady with the short hair and thin lady with long hair and black scrubs) Disappointed to say the least!
