First off, the Greyhound station isn't in the same place it was. Before coming to the Greyhound station I saw security harassing the homeless for no reason. It was ridiculous. They weren't even in the way and security was telling them to move. And one of them was a veteran! So I was walked across the street to pick up my ticket. There were a few other areas of concern and that's why I'm giving this station two stars. Not to GREYHOUND itself but the station. So after I picked up my ticket I had to use the restroom REALLY bad. The security lady you saw was taking her sweet time while I almost urinated all over my clothes. She didn't care. My friend came to bid me farewell and she kicked him out for no reason. She falsely accused him that he was a crack head which I know was NOT true. Not only that I loaded on my bus in Gate 3 and the "woman" who was supposed to be "helping" with the luggage and was just standing around talking not doing anything to even help. So you see I don't hate women at all but these two were by far the worst women in San Diego I ever encountered. Now you see why I decided to pack up and leave today.

The worst experience of my life. Bus stop is scary, I though I will get jumped there. That somebody got stuck in the bathroom on the way to LA and could not get out. We pulled over in completely not safe spot, when I tried to buckle up, both sit belts didn't work. Avoid with all costs, never again!

Conveniently located across the street from 12th avenue and imperial street trolley station downtown San Diego. It is small for a greyhound station,but clean and well light, with uniformed security officers. The atmosphere exudes efficient organization.uber and traditional cab service are right there. For easiest access to station approach along imperial ave going west towards sandiego bay.restrooms available.

It was a terrible place for taking a bus. Our family of four booked a bus online yesterday for the bus leaving at 10am today. We arrived at the station at 9-45am and was told to queue for a print ticket. The ticket lady then asked for luggage ticket that was not informed of. We needed to start queuing again. In the meam time, the bus driver said the bus was full and we could neither take another bus nor refund. The whole process is a trap for money without consumer garantee for your non-refundable booking. The place is like a 3rd world country station. Better go for a Uber. I gave less than 1 star for it.
