Had our department picnic here.  Great spot (#8), with trees, barbecues, and plenty of tables.  The Rangers were excellent at keeping the trash cans emptied and the nearby rest rooms had all the supplies they should.

Such a great park. Dogs welcomed. Lots of grass and trees. And trails to hike on. Bathroom was clean.

Lovely park,well organized,planty of parking and restrooms, barbeque areas.

Great park to set up a picnic. Wide open greenery, tables and restrooms. On holiday weekends (see Easter) it might be hard to find a spot unless you get there at ooening. This last Easter a friend had to be in line at the gate at 5am in order to pick the spot we wanted.
