I find myself having their cheeseburgers more often then I should. That's for sure. I really like the view as well as the friendly staff. I always feel wanted and also appreciated as a customer when I come in. I also like the small game room as I wait for my lunch, as pinball is always fun.

Cool little hangout in Nye Beach. OK beer selection and pretty decent food. Locals provide some good entertainment at night!

Sincerely one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Walked in to the family section upstairs with two kids and my significant other on a Monday night two days after my birthday. I hadn't eaten all day. This was my special dinner. 
When we walked in the whole place was empty excluding the television and the hostess was watching it. I told her she didn't need to turn it off for us, I was very pleased to be there and find no offense. We sat by the window for a nice view,  they had a couple of toys for infants my girls commandeered while we spoke with the hostess. 
 
Ordered the kid's dinner first. 
We ordered drinks, which I also never do. I have ordered water pretty exclusively my whole life. Apparently no hard liquor, just hard cider, beer and wine? How do you call yourself a bar?
I made sure to ask about allergy accommodations for my 2 year old turning three(it was supposed to be her birthday trip, to the aquarium). 
My daughter is allergic to most food aside from seafood. I made sure that I clearly communicated that she could only have fish, no wheat, no breading, no dairy. Please? 
No. The hostess brought us breaded fish for my gluten allergic 2 year old, and when I pointed it out, I received a reality check. 
Calling out to her mother(who was actually a man downstairs), and yelling up the stairs at us cattily "I guess this is what I'm eating for dinner!"
"I'm sorry" I kept repeating, even though I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. "At least you'll know it's good right?" 
She seemed to scoff at me.  
She recommended the steak and prawn and a steak and scampi, so I figured I'd order a steak for the first time at a restaurant. I don't usually treat myself. We ordered clams, as I am usually not brave enough and really wanted to try something new but I feel like I have a sign that says "kick me" on my forehead. My bf and I teased about which to get, the hostess joined in and said wrote what I wanted down and told him he was getting the other.
This woman up sold us on the steak dinners, that never arrived.
We had clam chowder, which I ended up pissing out of my rectum, that I can only assume was out of one of the same store bought containers of Ivar's Clam Chowder from the local Safeway that I was later given to pack up my scampi and potato I didn't finish after the steak didn't arrive. 
We asked if we could get them still to go and she told us she was closing at 9 and treated us like an imposition.... but they are open until 2? 
There were people downstairs when we left without eating more than clams that didn't look or taste fresh, or sauteed in wine as stated. I know the potatoes weren't baked, they weren't even cooked all the way through. 
They distinctly tasted like microwaved potato and fork could get though. 
She knocked $4 dollars off the steak dinner we ordered and rung us up for just scampi and shrimp dinners. BF ended up giving her a $20 dollar tip even after she charges us $70+ for food we didn't get to eat and this was a present to me... He tipped because he's a good man and didn't realize that she was hustling us until he had time to get past the massive guilt trip this woman kept trying use as a tactic.
She also assumed and called my bf Dad, which might be cute under some circumstances, but I assume this woman thinks I have a comfortable, lush life. 

All this when my make up is covering my two black eyes from an assault and I'm literally passing tissue from a baby fetus and had been kicked in the belly.

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon and the service was fantastic. I had shrimp and halibut which was delicious but minus one star because the amount of food for the price was a tad disappointing. We ordered one of the $17 bucket meals which includes shrimp and we only got 2 shrimps...2. You can see the ocean from here which is nice.
