Story

Seafood focused eatery and bar right in the heart of Nye Beach in lively Newport, Oregon. We are a unique and inviting place with fresh local seafood, sandwich favorites, and made from scratch specials. Our bar has spirits, Northwest, California and imported wines, and on-tap craft beers including Kiwanda Umbrella IPA, Kiwanda Cream Ale, rare specialty Pelican brews, and a tasty sampling from other great Oregon microbreweries.

We strive for locally sourced, freshly prepared food in a environment that is fun and imaginative. Just across the street from the Newport Performing Arts Center, and a short walk from the beach, hotels, and shops.

My wife and I enjoyed our meals and the great service. She had a small Caesar salad with chicken and I had the tuna steak sandwich. Her salad was a good size and the chicken was very good. My sandwich was really good and the fries were excellent! We’ll be back.

This has to be my best dining experience ever on the coast. Excellent service and food, even for me who doesn't eat seafood. The fries are a must. I had a yummy ruben with broccoli cheddar soup. Good location being close to the beach. They have their own small lot, but there is also plenty of street parking around. Decent prices with big portions makes this a place I'll be back to often when I visit the coast.

I had fish tacos, they were great. Decent vegetarian options, and a few gluten free. Friend had the clam chowder and I tried a little. It was delicious! Prices were a touch high but the food was very fresh and yummy.

We stopped here while in town for the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. The food was good and the service was fast. I would definitely visit again.

I had the freshest, most tender calamari I've ever eaten... The salmon sandwich was excellent... Great beer and an excellent bourbon assortment... Our wait staff was friendly and timely... Megan made our visit one to remember
