Pretty great. The staff are friendly and helpful. Occasionally there's trouble with insurance but they try to work through it. However, if you have an emergency it's a $75 fee for them to open the doors on the weekend.

Sanford Medical Equipment in Sioux Falls is the WORST! My wife and I had our baby and purchased "top of the line" pump. Our kid was in the NICU so we spent much of our time there where they provided a pump to use. When we finally got the chance to go home to get some rest, we of course needed to pump but the pump didn't work - specifically the power cord wouldn't assemble correctly. This happened over Memorial Day weekend so we had to wait until Tuesday to take it back. We ended up spending the night with our son in the NICU which was great but emotionally trying and draining after so many long days. Originally they just wanted to swap out the cord. This was fine but I wanted them to check and make sure the pump worked before I left the store because having a working pump with a new baby is essential. It didn't turn on. So they then wanted to swap out the pump with a demo that had been out of the box and on the shelf for a month. I refused. I paid for a new pump and I wanted a new pump. At this point one of they guys got on the phone with the manufacturer and got the ok to swap out for a new box. This was great and they even took it out to make sure it worked. Once it checked out ok, they packed up the box and we went on our way. That night when we finally got back home after spending the day with our son who's still in the NICU and opened the box for her to pump we found that they didn't pack the power cord. Very frustrating and we wonder if it was done out of spite judging from some of the things that were said when we returned the original pump. All that said, double and triple check these people if you have to buy anything in the store!

Have used Sanford Home Medical on 12th Street monthly for around 8 years. Staff is awesome couldn't ask for a better experience !

We used sanford for to get a apnea for our infant. We were told results would be sent to our doctor. What they fail to tell you is, they send the results through the hospital first before they send them to your doctor. After the results go through the hospital to be looked at you are charged an additional $182 each time on top of the almost $500 a month to rent the machine. Good policy they have, send the results through the hospital then charge more money.
