Had great fun on the Sanibel Harbour Princess for New Year's Eve. Need more lively entertainment for the midnight cruise. Food was great! Staff was great! Ive stayed here several times in the past, the hotel is a good resort, we love the Spa.... It has a sauna, steam room, spa which the men + women each have separate wings. The co-ed indoor pool (not hot water, not cold either) is fair, big windows to see outside, it's peaceful enough and I've never seen it busy. The grounds are nice. Big hammocks. Good restaurants and bar. The outdoor pool and spa is good, busy during hot months. The co-ed indoor pool inside the Spa and the steam room needs to be renovated soon IMO.

A very special tucked away location with incredible waterway views. The staff all seamed quite professional, outgoing / friendly. The lobby & rooms are all "today tasteful" & equip. The only surprise was that the mini-bar is NOT a true mini-frig! It looks like one, but only keeps things moderately cool ( not cold). I guess to dissuade you from bringing in outside food or beverage... There are many areas around the two main pools to stroll along the waters edge to catch a glimpse of the dolphins & manatees that swim by! The only down side, might be arriving at this special location tucked on the mainland side of Sanibel Bay. The entry road is the last exit just before the $6 toll bridge to Sanibel Island. If you arrive during a rush hour ( as I did), you can get backed up in toll traffic for 20-30 mins as you wait to exit, just before the toll.

This is a bery fancy hotel with 3 pools, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor. My mother and I stayed at this Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort around Christmastime as my A+ credential reward. Only a few complaints I have: 1. $7.00 for 10 minutes to use the business center is too expensive. 2. $25.00 per person to eat at Tarpon Bay for breakfast is on the high side. I had to have breakfast at the coffee shop. No breakfast was included. It was very quaint and nice with Palm trees in the Sunshine State. It even has a walking trail.

I visited Sanibel only too briefly, but did find time for a massage at the Sanibel Harbour spa. My spa provider was Terra; she took good care of my injured rotator cuff and I am grateful. The spa is lovely, with hot tub, steam room, sauna, relaxation room, etc. Don't miss it. Meanwhile, as I was enjoying my massage, my husband was playing tennis and getting terrific lessons from the spa's tennis pro, Ninka. What a perfect way to spend the first morning of our vacation! i can't wait to go back.

We arrived for a late lunch at 1:30 and was told we'd have a 20 min. wait so we walked around. While walking around we noticed a woman sitting at a table with a lap top , cell phone and tablet out on the table. No evidence of food or that she had been eating was on the table. After 25 min. We walked back to be seated and they said they still didn't have a table ready so we walked around another 15 min. At 2:15 still no table available so I told the male manager about the woman occupying a table for her social networking needs and he said " yes we know she's just sitting there but we can't ask her to leave" I said really? We then left. They lost out on at least $100 in food sales.
