I have stayed at a few Hampton Inn's, but this by far is the best! The rooms were recently renovated, everything was nicely appointed and well thought out. The location was close to the beach and close to CA 17 & CA 1, which made getting around easy. The staff was beyond friendly the owner actually when out of her way to make my wife and I feel at home and gave us valuable information on restaurants and things to do while we where there. When I return to Santa Cruz, I will be staying there again.

Hampton Inns are reasonably priced... located everywhere... breakfast is included... and is like Starbucks. You know what you're going to get before you walk through the door. No surprises.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and professional. This is one of the best stays that I have had anywhere in recent memory.

Nice hotel in Santa Cruz... One of the best ones in this area. Clean, friendly staff, quiet... The only negative I can think of is the parking... It is shared with the next door, and its not the best area in Santa Cruz... I've never had any problems there, but I don't feel like my car is completely safe... Otherwise, it's a nice place! Decent breakfast too!

Do not use your credit card at this hotel. The staff maunualy inputs fraudulent charges and denies reversing the charge. Terrible service. They can not even transfer phone calls internally.
