I got a referred to this clinic by my daughters doctor as we had some concerns for possible lazy eyes, she is almost 2 and we have noticed her eyes wondering or kinda getting stuck. I figured with it advertising as a family eye clinic they would be more welcoming to little ones but boy was i wrong. I will say the assistant was amazing and interacted with my little one for the few pre exam questions which she loved and she was very comfortable. Than the doctor came in not even really interacting with my child which made her feel uncomfortable and hesitant. He flashed the light in her eyes and said he thought she was fine but to bring her back in a year if it was worse. He spent all of 5 minutes max and did nothing but shine a light in her eyes. I have requested a second opinion through a child friendly eye clinic as this was a concern both me and her doctor could see very clearly and little to no effort was taken to make reassurance of this concern. Would not reccomend this clinic to anyone and if i could give lower score i would.
Great staff. I have always had a wonderful experience.
Usually all Optometrists are the same, for the most part. However!!! This place takes the cake. First thing the eye test is not done with a piece of paper hanging on the wall as it should be done, it was done reading a computer screen. I understand that our lives are spent reading computer screens but the pixelization makes it impossible to get an accurate reading. And second, he is just money hungry. I say this because no changes were made to my prescription even though it's not correct and when I went in today for my fitting he first thinks that the improperly fitting contacts I currently have on are just fine. And secondly when I asked to simply change the type of contacts he stated that is "fine but it'll come out of your pocket." When I asked for clarification because since when does an Eye Doctor charge for a 3 minute fitting? He stated that "today was a free bee but any and all visits after today there is a cost that insurance won't cover." Again I asked for clarification because I have never heard of something such as this and his response simply was "I don't work for free." Simply put I highly recommend not going here and if I could give a lower score I happily would.
Great place to go for any of your vision needs. Very friendly staff and excellent eye doctor. He will work hard to fulfill your needs. They do everything they can to make your visit a pleasant one. My eye doctor forever.
such malarkey. i have been a client here for years and have always found the office to be open during its stated hours and the staff and Dr. Storey to be knowledgeable, understanding, and helpful. i’ve tried others before i found Santiam Vision Source, and i wouldn’t go anywhere else.
A very knowledgeable eye doctor. Very thorough and checks my eyes very well every time. I trust them with my eye health.
Worst possible place, only open when they feel like it
