Best place to camp and ride your bike. The trails are amazing and have different levels of skill. An entire family could have a great time here. Great places to eat and interpretive place right out in the middle of 441 that has some old bridge stanchions. The history in this town is awesome and because of it we have these great trails. The bathrooms have recently been remodeled and look great and the staff are always accommodating and pleasant. If you don't mind the sound of a train every once in awhile this is the perfect Campground for you.

I love how they have a section to practice all the different wooden pathways you might see on the actual trails. My kids and I love coming here. Everyone we have encountered here is nice and encouraging (especially when the kids fall).

My husband and I like to visit there at least a couple times a week to take a walk. They just paved the trail for a good long ways and they did a good job of it! The last time we were out there, we cleaned up a good bit of the trash that was laying on the sides of the path. Lots of health bar wrappers and empty water bottles! It's amazing how healthy people are making the earth sick by being lazy and just dumping their garbage while exercising. Please keep the parks clean! Overall we enjoy going to these trails for walks!

About half the 25 sites are shady & level. Some traffic noise on nearby street. Great new 16 mile paved bicycle path, & lots of rough wooded trails for mountain bikes (actually kind of dangerous!). Mostly empty sites during this mid April time.

Love this place for riding bikes. Vortex is a really cool place with excellent red trail circling it. Ride both side for red trail action. Can be muddy right after big rain making downhill and boardwalks really sketchy. Summer can be painfully hot so early start recommend or really late.
