This is a small campground  with a couple dozen sites that are designed to hold  horses. There are hitching posts at each site as well as access to water.  You do not need to have horses to stay there but abbout half of the people staying there did. I was hesitant about the noise but they were very quiet at night. The campsites we're spacious and the people were friendly.  The park ranger was amazingly helpful. We went there because it was a short drive from both Silver springs and Rainbow Springs. I will happily go there again. I would have been happier if there had been power at the sites but we made due.

Had a wonderful stay with my friends, was very impressed on the cleanliness of the bathroom and showering facilities as well as the campground in general. People with horses come here also and go riding on the trails on the grounds. The gentleman at the gate I can't remember his name but bless him for doing what he has done to make this campground a fun time and great memory for myself and my friends. Look forward to coming back and camping again and a little longer next time.

Beautiful Campground with lots of shade and it's very quiet here. Lots of beautiful trails to enjoy and it takes you right through the historic diggings of the Marjorie Harris Carr cross Florida Greenway. Lots of information in the campground office and the staff are wonderful and pleasant. Great place to volunteer to help clean up trails and close to town of you need something.  It's a little hard to get to the bike trails but you can access them from here in the Florida Trails not that far off either. Just awesome.

I always love coming here. Camping is primitive but there is a nice clean bathhouse with good hot water. Horse camping is perfect. Water for the horses and a nice wash rack. Beautiful trails along the Florida Greenway and within riding distance of the land bridge over I-75.

Horse park too! Many trails for horses, mountain and road bikes.  Very nice and quiet park, well maintained.
