Savory Cuisines had delicious food first and foremost. We booked them for our rehearsal lunch and everyone was enjoying the food. They did a great job helping create the menu. The Mac and Cheese was amazing.

We ordered the picnic dinner from Savory Cuisines for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.  It was delicious!  I had the tuna and it was so flavorful.  The portion was so generous that I couldn't even finish it.  We will definitely do this again!

I preordered a meal for just before the Shakespeare play I had tickets on July 1st. It was absolutely the best mushroom I have ever eaten. Smoked with a basalmic vinigret dressing and feta cheese. Are it while sitting on the lawn outsider of the theater with my son. The best way to get a meal before a play. The people were great and I feel like I know them now. But the food was far and away the best salad I've had in ages. Buy from these kids, and you won't be disappointed. Five stars.

7/28/2017 NEW EXPERIENCE - NEW REVIEW
My husband and I went to the CU Shakespeare Julius Caesar show this past weekend, and we were given the opportunity to try Savory Cuisines again (see previous review and response).  The owner, Bob, graciously treated us to complimentary pre-ordered dinners.  I am pleased to say that our second experience with Savory Cuisines was OUTSTANDING!  We had the Tuna Poke Dinner and the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob Salad with chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies.  Enough cannot be said about the Tuna Poke Dinner.  It is DELICIOUS!  I would highly recommend everyone order this dinner - high quality tuna, large tuna cubes and a wonderfully flavored dinner.  The Mediterranean Chicken Kabob Salad was excellent.  The chicken was well portioned, cooked perfectly.  Overall very satisfying.  The cookies were a sweet end to the meals.  My wine was poured (as well as others I noticed) with an amount equal to the value.  Lastly, we had a chance to try a chicken empanada at the intermission.  My husband really liked it, and plan on getting those next time too!  I am glad we had the chance to try Savory Cuisines again (thanks Bob), and have the same wonderful experience that other patrons have noted.

7/1/2017  Last night my stud husband and I, with our two teenage children, attended the Co Shakespeare Festival (Taming of the Shrew) on the CU Boulder campus for the first time.  We looked forward to (as advertised) the light dinner menu, plus beer and wine, available by Savory Cuisines Catering.  
Our experience was COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTING.  As served, my $8 glass of white wine was the end of the bottle, and gave me about 4 sips.  The empanadas were totally unavailable, which left the menu options to a long list of sugary desserts, veggies and hummus, and a cheese plate.  We purchased a lemon bar (delicious), a brownie (average), the hummus (overall okay) and the cheese plate (disgusting).  The cheese looked and tasted as if it had sat out in the hot afternoon sun.  
If the University continues to use this vendor, I would communicate much higher standards of service and product availability given the high attendance of the event.

Savory catering was far and away, the best tasting catering company, while also providing incredible value and professionalism.

My husband and I came across Savory through our wedding venue, Lionsgate. After several other caterers, we decided to give Savory a try. Immediately upon arrival we knew we had a company that was a cut above the rest. We had attended several other companies who despite what menu we told them we were interested in, gave us samples of their top dollar cuisine, which was nice, but nothing that we had asked to sample. Savory asked us what we wanted to have at the wedding (a Taco Bar) and when we arrived, the owner and head chef was making us... A Taco Bar. It was quite refreshing. The food was amazing no matter what the course was, salads, appetizers and entree were all outstanding. We tried their Ghost Pepper salsa and I was in love! I asked if I could have it at the wedding and they were more than accommodating to make sure it happened. We signed with them before the night was through.

In the months and weeks leading up to the Wedding, they were always in communication, and always available for questions and some last minute changes. At our 2 month out meeting with the venue, they even sent a representative to make sure they knew the ins and outs of our day.
When our day arrived we half expected something to go wrong, as everyone always says that it would... But when it came time to sign our wedding license, there were two plates of food ready for us to snack on before an hour of photos! Awesome! When we arrived at our dinner table they hand delivered us our meals so we could focus on actually enjoying our wedding food. Everything was exquisite, and our guests appreciated how the entire affair was handled. We couldn't have asked for anything more. When the wedding was done and the dust was settled, we left for our wedding suite and Savory had packed ToGo containers of our wedding food to feast on for days to come. 

Savory was the pinnacle of professionalism, timeliness, communication and taste. We would not hesitate to use them at an event in the future, and will gladly tell anyone in need of our amazing experience with them. Thank you Savory!
