Street Legal Pizza first opened in 2009 in Broomfield, Colorado and immediately became the favorite neighborhood pizzeria.
Today, we are located in Boulder, Colorado, right by 30th and Pearl, and are continuing to serve some of the best homemade pies in the greater Denver area.
Customers from the East Coast, particularly New York and New Jersey, often come in and tell us how much the pizza reminds them of home, and that it was the only "real" New York-style pizza in Colorado.
Having roots in California, this came as a bit of a surprise our intention was not necessarily to recreate New York-style pizza, but to create the best pizza possible.
In 2011, Street Legal Pizza was voted "Best Pizza in Denver" by Fox 31 News viewers.
Our recipe also won "Best Pizza" at the Rocky Mountain Pizza & Pints Festival in July 2015 and June 2016.
Our most recent achievement was winning the coveted "Best Overall Pizzeria" prize at the Boulder Creek Hometown Festival in September 2016.
