Authentic Thai food. Every experience I have had at Sawatdee has been exceptional. As a person with Celiac disease, I always appreciate a restaurant with an extensive gluten free menu. I had the Pad See Yew with beef, and it was phenomenal. 

They have many vegan and vegetarian options as well. We were quickly seated, the server was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the house red wine was delicious. We will definitely be back! Perfect spot for a date night or family night out.

Always love Sawatdee. My husband likes St Paul flavors a little better, I prefer Eden Prairie. Fast takeout service, nice eat-in atmosphere. Often a Groupon available. Fantastic Thai food.

Tastes varies many a times. Sometimes the same dish tastes good n sometimes it doesnot. Overall ambience n service is good. Patiently listen to the order and provide detail info about the dishes.

Nothing is ever cut small enough. I’ve gotten food with whole mushrooms, peppers that are sliced in a whole ring instead of julienned, and curry filled with chicken pieces that are too big to fit on a spoon. They only use dark meat chicken. In my last takeout order, my rice was only about 3/4 full. The curries and soups all separate with a huge layer of fat on the top. Just overall underwhelming every time, and the food isn’t great quality or authentic. Probably won’t be back.

Being a thai restaurant, this place needs spice! I asked for a 4 out of 5 for spiciness--what I got was maybe a 1. Initially I thought it was a mistake and I asked for something to spice up my dish a little bit, waitress then brought out a small scooper in a container full of what looked like ground red chilies. I thought, "this is going to be great." Be after basically turning my chicken ginger stir fry the color of pure red, I wasn't getting anything. 

Now, that's all fine and good--I couldn't complain too much about that, and my meal was fundementally pretty good but very salty and with the price for just my mid-sized meal portion and a water at 14 buck without tip, I just couldn't give it those 4 stars.
