Love this place. The camping spaces are more than adequate and the staff are so nice and helpful. The place is kept clean, even the bathrooms! Only place I go. Rates are very reasonable too.

I spent 2 nights at Scotts Flat as part of a large family reunion group with multiple adjacent camp sites. Some of our family brought RVs, and the RV parking spots were large enough - but we had to shuffle RVs around, because each of the RV spots was a different length. Each camp site had plenty of space for multiple tents. This is definitely a cushy place to camp, with flushable toilets and coin-operated warm showers. There was also plenty of shade...thank goodness because that weekend the temperature topped 103F.

Be forewarned, as with a lot of the reviews, this place has no night time guard and the partying and noise is out of control. Not a place to family camp or even camp if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet at night. Yeah it was okay. The days were nice. I doubt we will stay at Scott's Flat ever again. Probably do Rollins from now on. Out of 5 nights, we got 2 nights of sleep. There is no night time security and this place has turned into the party place. Dumbass yuppies don't have 4wd and can't go party out in the real woods so they gotta ruin families camping trips. Our first day a guy got 86'd and another site next to ours was put on warning. Then we were at a wedding and went right to sleep for night 2, night 3 a huge group took up 3 spots across from us for a 3 day party. First night they drank themselves to sleep early but after that it was all night of bad singing and loud commotion. Finally they left and we would have had a nice sleep last night, our final night, BUT some homeless douche party of people in 4 cars showed up at like midnight next to us and they had to make sure the entire campground was awake. We yelled at them, but they continued. It would be nice if there was a camp host # you could call or something, but there isn't.

Have been camping here for the last 12 years. Perfect location for weekend camping. Showers and a local store also rounded out the comfort level.
